Saturday, March 8, 2014 - Brilliant black cherry. Med.+ body. Atomized floral, cherry shaved-ice, and shoe-polish aromas. Palate is blackberry, black cherry, cola, plum, rhubarb, and sweet meats. Firm acidity. Sweet tannins lead to a plush finish. 14.5% abv. Decant, of course. Drink or hold. Or hold and drink. When in Montalcino, Baccinetti is an obligatory visit. Bravo!
