Sunday, February 1, 2015 - Lemon, apricot and grapefruit balanced by still noticeable oak on the nose and palate. Crisp acidity and a stoniness round out the palate. Still a little too much noticeable wood for me, but that should moderate over time. Consumed over 1.5 hours with a light savory cod dish, but this wine would pair well with a variety of foods. Better after an hour of air time and warming to room temperature.
