Saturday, February 23, 2013 - Last of my 2001 Dunhams and it is kicking tons of sediment to decant or pour carefully. Deep garnet that fades to bricks on the rim. Nose of well integrated black pepper, cassis, cedar, roasted meats black cherry and pencil lead. A wonderfully complex nose. The fruit is incorporated into a lovely deep bouquet of blackberry, black cherry and cedar box. Dark fruit forward well integrated into some silky tanins and nice black pepper & vanilla oak in a nice long finish.
