Saturday, May 2, 2015 - Drank over 2 days. First day, a nice nuanced nose that is reminiscent of Bordeaux. The palate is nothing like Bordeaux, with tart fruit, high acidity, some firm tannins, and a fair amount of horsey barnyard. This strikes me as a food wine. Second day, even more barnyard, but it did go well with pizza. Overall, this tastes like a $14 red Loire wine. Imagine that.
