Monday, April 18, 2011 - Blackberries, cured meat, cinnamon and herbs. This is a big Syrah, with a very broad mouth and a long, lingering finish. Acidity is low and the wine overall comes across as brooding, with a hot finish. Not the best Syrah I've ever had, but definitely has some redeeming qualities.
