Friday, July 15, 2011 - This wine was tasted in double-blind fashion at Vintage Wines, Ltd. The bottle was kindly provided by Don Shapiro. It showed beautifully, with structure and flavors (independently recorded) comparable to those described 7/7/11. The aromatics were even more impressive, leading me to give it an even higher score. Bravo to Mondavi for taking up their game a notch or two on this bottling! Drink now-12/20.
