Friday, March 29, 2013 - Brought to a wine tasting dinner with 3 other couples amidst a very strong lineup of red wines (and the Grand Cru chablis magnum we also brought). This was opened at table and aired for about 40 minutes before pouring. A youthful garnet in the glass, the nose was of red and black currants, cassis, sandalwood and spices. Quite open-knit on the palate, this featured very good concentration and intensity, and was the most open red consumed on the evening, quite delicious, and enjoyed by all!
