Thursday, July 2, 2015 - Deep ruby, almost inky in color. Woodsy, truffle, smoky aromatics remind me a smoking a Cuban cigar while drinking a glass of plum and blackberry liqueur. The aromatics pop along with the cork. Incredibly rich, the wine takes up a lot of room on the palate, with a wall of ripe tannins and a fine grained finish of ripe cassis that does not want to quit.
