Friday, February 8, 2013 - Pop and pour aromatics exposed blueberry, crushed rock, smoked leather and caramel. Dark and earthy on the palate with blackened beef, thyme, plums and Greek olives. Finished smooth as olive oil without any heat. However, after 2-3 hours of aeration, this wine started to fall apart showing some warmth, a heaviness and port like alcohol levels.
I believe this to be bottle variation.
