Sunday, January 29, 2012 - Decanted for one hour, served at room temperature. Color: Medium Red. Nose: Black Liquorice, Blueberry, Raisin. Palate: see nose. Finish: Short to Medium. Tannins: Low to Medium. Alcohol: 13 % showing. Medium bodied mouthfeel with initial dark fruit. Mid-palate adds black liquorice transitioning into a raisiny, alcoholic finish. Feels a bit watered down and missing character to get excited about. Overall a very average effort. 84-85 points.
