Thursday, April 26, 2012 - Killer nose, fresh apple meets pineapples, nicely integrated oak on the nose. Great texture, bright apples, star fruit, strong acidity rises up hard on the palate. This acidity makes the finish linger a long time, gripping the mouth hard. Some caramel in the finish, but great strong acids and minerals. I'll be aging mine a few years. Served blind, I knew exactly what this was the first time I smelled it, very distinct nose. 89+
