Sunday, August 24, 2014 - Light green apple nose. Medium weight with nice texture/mouthfeel. Some stone fruit and honey along with some minerality, but finishes with some bitter notes. Worked fine with smoked salmon and Le Tur cheese appetizers, but not a winner with the group. Greatest interest is for the varietal characteristics - takes you to the Rhone valley.
