Saturday, June 13, 2015 - Ultimo lunch time tasting (Ultimo wine centre (but now vintage cellars)): Slight herbaceous, pyrazine aromas sit behind bramble, blackcurrant, cream and vanilla. In the mouth the wine has more of the same from a flavour perspective. The tannins are very drying and tough though a little of the fruit carries beneath this brutal grip. Needs time. It's okay.
