Tuesday, February 28, 2012 - Aged 10 months in oak. Definitely big oak butter nose with pineapple and apple notes. Interestingly, an oak dominant Chardonnay in the standard California wine making approach for this varietal but expressions of oak and butter become subdued on the palate. Decent acid and fruit balance.
