Sunday, February 23, 2014 - Wine snobs that I know have described my palate as meat and potatoes because of my preference for big, bold wines from Bordeaux and for my lack of appreciation for Pinot noir. I would describe my palate as mature and I would describe burgundy as inconsistent. Nonetheless, this was simply perfect. This opened quickly and drank wonderfully. Full of ripe fruit with a long finish. If only all burgundy drank like this....
