Tuesday, October 22, 2013 - A riddle wrapped inside an enigma - which is pretty much Barolo across the board for me. At first massively reticent (is that an oxymoron?) before revealing quite beautiful and deep aromas of black fruit underpinned with teeth clinging tannins. No doubt this is drinkable now, but I can feel those Barolophiles rolling their eyes and saying 'Tis but a child!!'. And they would be right. Simply delicious and mysterious and fecund with promise.
