90 Points

Wednesday, January 18, 2006 - A viscous, low-acid, full-bodied, fruit-packed affair. Not quite as floral as the Viogniers I've had from California, it shows a hearty mix of honeydew, mango, and orange rind. The fruit is complemented nicely by subtle mineral notes. There's great balance here, though the finish comes up a little short. It's worth the trip at $30 in any event, especially as a respite from cookie-cutter Calichards and straightforward Sauvignon Blancs.
