Wednesday, May 27, 2015 - Dark ruby color turning purple at the rim with a deep nose of red and dark berries, floral hints of violets and rose petals, vanilla and smoked oak. The palate is dry, densely structured, full-bodied, with a silky texture. Flavors of black cherry, raspberry, graphite, scorched cedar, and spice form the core. At this age, the flavors as expected, have harmonized quite well, providing a well-balanced, layered, and complex drinking experience. Finishes long with hints of vanilla and dusty Alexander Valley earth. Drink now until 2029.
