Tuesday, June 14, 2011 - Slight effervescence. Medium deep straw colour.
Ripe citrus and dried pineapple on the nose.Slight hoppy herbaceousness and florals.
Dry and a tad oily palate with citrus, yellow apple and tropical fruit - all well balanced by the racy fine-grained acidity. Some acacia flowers, gunpowder and salt liquorice - as well as something bready. Long nuanced aftertaste showing some fine mineral character.
Lovely balanced Riesling. Really nice to get some Kühn in Alko.
