Monday, March 18, 2013 - Blend of 6 varietals, which normally don't go together - see a prior review for the breakdown - Bordeaux, Rhone varietals + Carmenere. Color is ruby red. Nose is quite restrained, with red fruit, floral, powder. The wine is quite enjoyable, but doesn't deliver the punch or quality at this price that you'd expect from Chile. The blend ends up being toned down, rather than a complementary, full-bodied creation. Nice, but missing depth at this price.
