Sunday, October 13, 2013 - Color: deep mature gold edging toward amber. Incredible bouquet of apricots, brown sugar, molasses and slice of freshly cut lime. Tremendous palate presence showing bracing, vibrant acidity allied with lovely elements of creme brulee, butterscotch, caramel, toffee, apricots, peaches . . . . Yep, this is the real deal. Really fascinating that I found this even better after being open for a full day -- on the first day I found the acidity to be almost too aggressive! Nearly perfect structure, ridiculously long finish. The old adage is true: you can never truly have too much Y'quem in your cellar. Buy it. Age it. Enjoy it.
