Saturday, March 28, 2015 - Dark purple in color. Blueberry, clove, chocolate on the nose. Strong alcohol on the palate which subsided after awhile. Still seems crazy young, even after 17 years. Maple syrup on the nose and palate. Thick in consistency. Good with the wine soaked lamb chops we ate. Dark fruit flavors - raisin, plum, rum cake. Really hitting its stride three hours after opening.
