Saturday, May 11, 2013 - Gorgeous wine. A bit of age seems to really add weight and complexity to these. Not the typical light and crisp California SB (which I also enjoy), the Arkenstone is more about floral notes and minerality with age starting to bring on a touch of an almost brown sugar or honey accent. A nice acidity balances the full body to keep it from being overly heavy.
