Monday, December 27, 2004 - Two bottles at the Tymetrix Christmas lunch @ Acqua. Beautiful. Dark, almost black. Medium bodied with a chocolate cherry nose of oiled leather, coffee, tar, chocolate and cherry pipe tobacco. Muscular mouth of ripe, black cherry. Tannic yet balanced. Beautiful finish. It is great and will get better for years, perhaps decades. Absolutely terrfic.
