Friday, December 23, 2011 - Decanted for 90 mins before drinking. Tons of oak on the nose, even 3 hours after decanting. Oak continues on the palate, you can almost sense the graininess of the barrel. Blueberry and ripe fruit, tartness to it all. Seems softer and more approachable than its individual components lead me to believe. Retry next bottle in 3+ years.
