Friday, November 1, 2013 - Simpler than I had expected. Lovely color, not a strong nose, but a bit of black fruit and a fair touch of oak. To me, it seemed that this wine just stopped at mid-palate; the initial taste was fine, and the finish was fairly long, but in between there wasn't much. Seemed a bit thin, to tell the truth. Certainly a decent bottle, but it wasn't exciting. Easy drinking, but wasn't memorable. At this price point ($48) I expect more than this has to offer. Don't see much room for improvement with further aging.
