Thursday, April 16, 2015 - 2008 was a classic Cabernet year. the Newton Cab. has a medium body but not the depth of a Spring Mountain Cab. but, well made. With silky tannins with nice blackberry and current overtones. It has somewhat of a short finish and is a good $30+ Napa Cab. value. Drink through 2018.
