Saturday, April 16, 2016 - Almost two years ago, I thought this wine might be fading. If anything, it seems more vibrant and less muted now than it did back in mid-2014. Unfortunately, it struck me as a little too sweet, a condition that might be corrected by an appropriate food pairing (BBQ), more bottle age, and/or longer and better aeration. Aside from the sweetness, it was well balanced, without noticeable heat.
