Sunday, February 7, 2016 - I have really enjoyed all of Fred Scherrer's wines, well he's done it again and this time in spades. This is easily one of the best pinots I have ever had. It's difficult to describe all the layers of flavors, ripe red and black cherry, blackberry, tar, a bit of smoke, fine grained tannins, juicy acidity, a finish that went on forever.
