Wednesday, January 16, 2013 - 2 Days in the Valley- Day 1 (Willamette Valley, OR): nose: Certainly shows off some of the warmth of the vintage with some upfront tones of dark red fruits, dark berries, and some spice tones as well.
taste: There is good balance to the fuller body and it does have some lower acidity. It isn't flabby and has some flesh to it with tones of dark red cherries, dark berries, dark red fruits and some spices.
overall: This was a nice pinot that is easier drinking. While it has lower acidity, it isn't flabby but should be drunk earlier rather than later.
