Monday, April 6, 2015 - At Barbounia in Flatiron with Bill V. First experience with this wine, and limited prior tastings of Bandol. Splash decanted and drank over 90 minutes.

Red/magenta, translucent and light color. Nose was black cherry, red fruits, faint herbs. Palate was savory, red fruits, cherry, pepper/spicy.

This is a nice casual wine, primal with a medium finish. Went well with the middle eastern fragrant spiced cuisine. Nothing profound but very enjoyable. Would be great Summer BBQ or patio wine...
