Nose: after opening(Coravin half bottle decanted) mixture of pencil dark fruit and a bit of sulphiric stink.
Very dark blackish red with brownish rim
Harmonious palate, easy to drink but not so easy to love bc for my taste there is too much wood.
As often with Lafite there is not very much evolution (drank over 4h)after opening, the wine stays monolithic and will last easily another 40ys.
Bottle was unquestionably ok, but i dont wanna rate.
If i wouldnt have known what it was id given It 92-94 points for the pleasure. Giacosa Asili Riserva 07 was singing better that evening-less wood less buck (expensive either)
