Thursday, July 16, 2015 - For some reason the first bottle I had from this case was a little mute and underwhelming. Not this time around. This had everything I love about the Grez, all pulled together into an almost-perfect 2010 package.
The nose is pure Baudry - it has a cool, restrained character but is also full of fruit, clay and earth. The palate is everything I love about Chinon - dark red cherries and earth, wrapped in a silky package that's old world but polished.
