Friday, May 15, 2015 - At the PEF dinner we hosted at our house. Served this with the main course, tenderloin with a port sauce with wild rice, next to a Janasse Vielle Vignes CdP. Decanted for about 2 hours, drank over 2 hours

Consistent with prior notes, coming into a good spot. Dark maroon color, still looks young. Nose of dark/black fruits, mild floral notes. Palate of blackberry, pepper/spice mid palate, anise and cedar. Long and layered finish.

These bottles (2), were a little less primary than the last bottle, suggesting the wine is settling in. Mountain fruit is evident, drinking really well now, will be interesting to see how this evolves.
