Thursday, August 28, 2014 - Lovely wine that shows classic Muscadet aromas and flavors, and great texture and balance. That said, even over two days, the wine is a bit restrained and I don't know if it just needs more time to unfold, or if perhaps it simply isn't any more articulate as a wine than is day, Fief du Brueil or Briords. But in that case, why pay almost double. I like the wine very much but am not yet convinced on the value relative to other top notch Muscadet.
