Sunday, January 31, 2016 - Ruby to garnet, very first hints of age in edge. Nose is indistinct fruit and barrel sweet woods. Taste is closed, almost impossible to detect anything other than secondary characteristics. Didn't improve much over a couple hours, ultimately falling into a rich alcohol finish. Acidity just missing, not sure why. Lower rating than a few years ago, doesn't hold up.
