Sunday, October 23, 2016 - Maybe a bit past its peak. Not as fresh and succulent as previously. Downgrade from 95. Hope it's bottle variation, but I won't be dallying on the next bottle.

1-22-15 note: Bottle 2 of 6; 18 months since #1. Ready to drink, now. Will probably continue to get better. Nose of green pepper and bacon. Flavors are rich, with funky berry, graphite and loam. Finish is a marathon. Absolutely lovely. S would give it a 98.
