Friday, March 8, 2013 - Ruby red with just a touch of browning near the rim. This claret has still kept some youthful character in herself, with aromatics of soft red fruits, violet, forest floor and tobacco leaf. Silky on the palate, with the tannins just about noticeable, very finely integrated already. The wine added some weight with more air time, and revearled soothing bouquet of dried leather, cocoa powder, pencil shaving and hint of mushroom. Tannins gotten more tasty, and the wine has a nice acidity to keep it well balanced and fresh. Such a nice tasing experience.
