91 Points

Sunday, November 7, 2010 - Popped and poured. Nice bright ruby hue. Immediate nose of brambles, bing cherry, mountain florals, Indian tea spices. Well-defined on the palate with layers of disciplined red raspberry, cherry, cinnamon, and iron. Tannins still structured lending some gravity to each taste, accompanied by moderate acidity and freshness. Minerals and a kick of black cherry on the harmonious finish. Still holding a bit in reserve, but certainly an enjoyable drink on this occasion.
