Saturday, April 18, 2015 - Opaque purple with attractive glycerine legs. Opens way too spicy and alcohol hot. Settles down and opens up quickly with a vigorous decant and 30 minutes in the decanter. Then reveals liquified raspberries and blueberries, with some apricot jam. Meaty and savory on the palate with beef blood, iron and a lightly grilled component. Lush finish -- but only after the decant. Lovely.
