Tuesday, April 7, 2015 - As this wine sits in the glass for 30 minutes, it's personality is starting to show. At first, it was a bit restrained telling me "I'm too young...", but then it opens up to tell you that this is a classic Pauillac wine. Gobs of black licorice, cassis, cedar, and anise. While still a little grippy on the finish, the tannins are not offensive and will soften with a few more years in bottle. 90 points today... Higher score in 2-3 years. Well made wine.
