At the outset, I would have guessed Premier Cru Chassagne from a looser vintage such as 2006, as it showed resiny wood, light body, and apparently low acidity. Over time, though, more white flowers and saltiness appeared on the nose, and it gained in both focus and back end intensity if not weight. Its development was promising, but all in all, a curious showing nonetheless that falls short of real Grand Cru Chablis quality.
