Saturday, July 19, 2014 - Drank at Encore Rye with D. Light gold color with some slight green tinting. Nose mostly of citrus, but smelled slightly oxidized. Medium to fairly full bodied, lots of ripe fruit still here, mostly citrus. Wonderful mineral and slate qualities, along with crisp acidity. A wonderful example of an aged chablis that is singing right now, with plenty of time to yet enjoy future bottles. I would decant this wine next time to give it a bit more time to open up as there's plenty going on here.
