It has cool rock minerality and is a delicious wine of light and shade. There’s some spiced pear characters along with white flowers, aniseed, citrus and chalk. It has some of the green, floral things I associate with the vintage but they do not overwhelm. The advanced elements come to the fore by way of a big drizzle of honey and it finishes with good citric cut and is very long.
