Thursday, March 6, 2014 - Pop and pour and followed for several hours. Originally this was too cold, but it was much more expressive as it warmed up to room temperature. Intoxicating aromas of smoke, stone fruit, clove oil, ripe melon, pineapple, honeysuckle and other flowers, pine forest, citrus peel, earth, and a little vanilla. Stone fruit, lemon and lime, spice, vanilla, citrus peel, earth, minerals, saline, and honey on the palate. Good precise acidity (at room temp), light-medium body, long and delicious finish. Overall, I loved this wine and I spent much of the evening with my nose in the glass.
