Thursday, March 27, 2014 - Really classic showing here, with that lovely, complex nose of beeswax, lanolin, hay, honeydew, and a bit of orange peel. A nice hit of acid on the palate, followed by a lovely, unctuous texture, and long, slightly sweet finish. Like any good Savennieres, it's a nice, cerebral wine that went really well with dinner and is a super bargain.
