Thursday, January 31, 2013 - This is nowhere ready to drink unless you want to treat it like a French Bordeaux and let it breathe/decant for hours. My rating is based on what is was like after dinner, 2 hours after opening it REALLY started to open up with opulent color, fruit nose and a complexity I can only begin to descibe - oaky, woody, boysenberry, leather, cigar box and great finish.
We have two more bottles and we won't touch the next one until 2014. This wine has great potential, don't give up on it and give it at least another year, believe it will be stellar.
