94 Points

Sunday, December 1, 2013 - First time trying SQN. After all the hype behind these wines, I was left wanting a bit more. Opened and decanted through Vinturi about 6 hours prior to drinking. Dark, purplelish and inky. The complexity and changing characteristics of this wine are what made me enjoy it the most. I get why people would like this Syrah, just don't think it warrants the upper 90's scores. Will let my Five Shooter sleep for 3-4 years before drinking that.
