Friday, December 12, 2014 - Tough call on this one. The nose is exceptional - 91-plus. In the mouth this is very good, although a bit on the light-side for a chianti. The finish is not bad, but detracts from the awesome start.

If I could sniff this all night without drinking, it would be amazing - this is a $50 nose. I lack that discipline, but stil - this is a great wine - an excellent chianti. Great with food; also (unlike many Chianti's) very enjoyable alone.
