Wednesday, January 22, 2014 - Deep purple red. Blueberry, plum and oak nose. With a lot of aeration, some nice flavours can be coaxed out, but a lot of oak and wood tannins to deal with. Perhaps a long decant and/or a few years in the cellar to absorb some oak would help. Not yielding much pleasure right now for me. Very tight.
